How long does a jewelry project take?
Typically, your custom jewelry piece will be in your hands within 2-4 weeks after the design is finalized. However, since each project is unique, the timeline for completion may vary. Here’s an approximate breakdown of how long each stage of our process takes:
Design: As long as it takes for you to be delighted
When it comes to designing your piece, we work at your pace. Some customers may only need a few exchanges with us, allowing us to start production within a few days. Others may prefer a more iterative process, working with us over several weeks or even months to perfect their design.
Production: Around 2-4 weeks
Once your design is approved, we’ll begin crafting your custom jewelry. Every detail is meticulously finished by hand. Before shipping, we’ll send you photos of the completed piece to ensure it meets your expectations and receive your final approval.
Shipping: Approximately 1 week (international)
We use FedEx and DHL Worldwide Express for international shipping, one of the fastest options available. Depending on your location, customs inspections may occasionally delay the delivery, extending the shipping time.
When do I get to see a design? Do I have to pay first?
There’s no charge to discuss your design and price out options with our team. We request a deposit prior to producing 3D models and renderings of your design and that deposit goes toward the final cost of producing your piece.
Where are your gemstones sourced from?
It depends on the stone, however all gemstones we use in pieces are ethically sourced. This is something we love to discuss with clients during our custom meetings, and can provide specific information on gemstones depending on the desired stone type.
Can you use stones that I have?
Yes! We love working with heirloom stones that belong to our clients, and we’re happy to incorporate your stone into a custom piece. In order to use client provided stones, we require an in-person meeting and review of your stones before proceeding.
